THE ULTIMATE KAMEHAMEHA
This one is an extract from movie 10, where Brolli returns and is looking for vengeance on Goku. Of course, the Saiyan of that name is currently dead, but his son who looks just like him is alive, and tracked down by the evil Super Saiyan. Brolli fights him, Trunks, and Gohan, and easily defeats them all, with the battle ending in Gohan and Goten using a combined KameHameHa, too weak to finish it off properly and defeat Brolli. Goten wished for help off his dad as the two of them struggled against Brolli, who wasn't really trying, and was granted it as Goku came and fired his own blast which contributed to the power of Gohan's and Goten's, and made it enough to defeat Brolli. It was one of incredible power, and one that killed the evil one. In the aftermath though, Goku was no where to seen, leaving the lingering question that he had either gone back to heaven, or was never there in his physical form, but merely encouraging his sons to try harder.
THE DEATH OF (FUTURE) GOHAN
Like the previous classical moment, this one is taken from the Trunks Special. Gohan and Trunks are sitting on a hill, gazing at the magnificent city as they speak of Vegeta, Trunks' father when there's a huge explosion. Gohan decides to go and fight, despite the fact that he only has one arm, and chops Trunks in the neck to prevent him from coming too, as he's Earth's last hope. Gohan flies towards the blast, and has a confrontation with the evil Androids which he seemed to have a slight advantage over until they began double teaming him in hand to hand, with him only having one arm to block with it was made impossibly hard, and he was knocked staggering back. He was forced to retreat at this moment as he was losing his balance, with him then shooting off into the air, with the Androids in hot pursuit. They fire some blasts above him, and make him have to halt. The fiends then attack him a little, then rain down upon him with KI blasts, with them eventually wiping Gohan out.
TRUNKS GOES SUPER SAIYAN
This one is from the film 'The History of Trunks', otherwise known as the Trunks Special. It portrayed the life of the teenager before he traveled to Earth, and showed every stage of his life. He had fought rigorously to defeat the evil Androids, but to no avail. Even with Gohan training him he couldn't become strong enough to be the victor. Eventually his mentor died though, at the hands of the beasts, with Trunks arriving too late to help. He sees his dead trainer and screams in woe, yelling in anger, with his eyes turning green and his hair turning blonde, he completes the transformation into Super Saiyan, then slams his fist against the ground, causing a little of it to cave in.
FRIEZA SLICED IN HALF
When the mysterious teenager from the future turned up, things were looking bad, with Frieza having been powered up massively since his last encounter with Goku, and out for revenge by destroying everyone on Earth. He and his father's power was impeccably high, and no one could come close to matching them. Trunks - the teenager from the future - challlenged these monstrous evil fiends, and after a short scuffle with Frieza, he proved that he was a true Super Saiyan by using his immense speed to outrun the blast of a death ball. He then fired a blast at Frieza which the evil tyrant dodged, but didn't see the teenagers actions straight after the distraction shot. He bares down on the evil Frieza, and slowly slices his blade across the evil ones body, letting him split into two and feel ultimate pain before chopping him up into a further load of pieces, and finishing him off with an almighty blast.
BROKEN ARM
#18 vs. Vegeta, I'm sure everyone who has seen that fight will remember it. I have seen it, and I certainly believe it to be one of the best fights in DBZ, with the advantage swaying constantly, until 18 decided to get serious. Vegeta used some impressive attacks, and even matched the Android, perhaps having a chance of winning if it wasn't for her infinite energy. Anyway, at the end of the fight, Vegeta was punched away, but when he turned round to retaliate, the Android was baring down on him, and delivered an excruciating kick that slammed hard into his arm. Vegeta backed off a little holding his limp arm, then dropped to his knees screaming out in pain, realizing that it has been broken, and it is hurting an insane amount. He can't believe that the Android has beaten him, and prepares to accept his fate, when Trunks steps in and saves him.
EMOTION
Remember the Frieza fight, where Vegeta had been really confident about winning? He thought he was a Super Saiyan, and had tried so hard, giving it everything that was in his reserves. He ended up getting pummeled, and beaten to within an inch of his life, left for dead, lying helplessly on the ground. Goku had arrived, and was trying to comfort Vegeta in his last few hours. The Saiyan had told 'Kakarot' all about Frieza's evil plans to kill everyone, how he had hurt all his loved ones, killed both their fathers, and destroyed their people. Growing tired with Vegeta's incessant rambling, Frieza shoots a cutting beam straight through his chest, making his pupils narrow, and him enter the gates of death temporarily. He manages to hang on though, staying alive just long enough to tell Goku about why he has been so mean all his life. He tells his Saiyan counterpart all about how he lived in hatred and fear of Frieza, and how he really wanted vengeance. He thought today was the day, but his powers weren't radical enough. He kindly asks Goku to defeat Frieza for him, as tears begin to trickle down his face, with his before-now, stone, emotionless heart breaking. He tells Goku that there is one more step to becoming a Super Saiyan, but Frieza shoots another beam at him before he can say. Goku becomes enraged as this, as the evil one had killed someone who wasn't even a threat to him anymore. He stood up, buried Vegeta, then prepared to do battle, anger running through his veins.
THE ARRIVAL
After days of agonizing jogging, jumping, and sprinting, Goku finally reached his destination. Excited, he ran the last leg of his journey in an impeccably quick time. With the end in sight, his speed increased massively increased, and he soared towards the tail of Snake Way. Skidding to a halt at the end, he gladly looked at his success triumphantly, only just managing to remember why he came all this way. He had to train with the Martial Arts master King Kai, and become strong enough to beat the rapidly approaching Saiyans. He looks around desperately, with his spirit decreasing with every second, as he can't see King Kai anywhere. Looking up, he notices a small, green, rounded planet. With his face lighting up, Goku jumps as high as he can, managing to land on the fresh green grass of the Martial Arts master. Immediately he is pulled down by the superior gravity, injuring himself slightly. He manages to pull himself up after a fair bit of effort, and sees a monkey. Assuming this is King Kai, he follows him round, dancing about like a weirdo. His idiocy is interrupted though, when the real King Kai begins laughing at him. Goku meets the most important trainer in his life, and is ready to do his utmost best to defeat the Saiyans.
THE RETURN
After all that agonizing waiting, after having to get by without their good friend, and after all that time worrying of what became of him, everyone got to see Goku, as he returned from the battle with Frieza. They expected him to be far stronger, and were desperate to see the legendary Super Saiyan. A mysterious teenage youth had led them over to the location where Goku was to land, and they all waited patiently, anticipating the arrival of the Saiyan. Suddenly, a streak of fire enters Earth's atmosphere, soon revealing itself to be a small pod. It soars down at a remarkable speed, crashing down to Earth, and forming a huge crater. Everyone waiting excitedly, for activity from inside the pod. Tien wonders if there are airbags in the pod, and Yamcha replies "Why? To protect the ship from Goku's head!?". They both laugh, then the pod door springs open. No one even breathes, as they wait, hardly able to keep quiet. A hand places itself on the edge of the ship, and grips tightly, then strains as it pulls up someone's body. Out comes Goku, in all his glory, standing gallantly, with his hair blowing in the light breeze. He breathes in the Earth's air for the first time in over a year, and gives a gleeful smile as he is finally back home. Suddenly, from behind him come ecstatic cheers, as everyone greets Goku. Surprised, the Saiyan turns round, and happily greets all of his friends, reunited with them at last.
SUPER POWERS COLLIDE
How many times has this happened? I am in fact talking about the time where Gohan limply fought against Cell, with only one arm in tact to use. He has turned SSJ2, and is exchanging a KameHameHa with Cell. The two beams have such intensity, that the whole planet begins breaking up. Gohan strains, attempting to put more force into it, as the momentum swings back and forth. After a short while, Gohan's friends decide to intervene, attacking Cell with their most powerful energy beams, and blasts. Despite their best efforts, Tien, Yamcha, and even Piccolo couldn't put a scratch on the mighty warrior, not even being successful in distracting him for Gohan to finish Cell off. Up in heaven, Goku knows that Gohan has more power than he is currently using, but doesn't understand why. He contemplates this for a while, then realizes that it's because Gohan doesn't want to destroy the Earth with the raw intensive energy of his beam. Cell looks towards all of Gohan's enemies, suffering from Krillen's attacks now, along with everyone else's. He gets annoyed at this, and fires a blast, scattering them all across the battlefield, unable to move. This routine continues for a short while, until the Earthlings are too weak to help, due to the damage sustained. After watching everything, Vegeta, who knows that he is unable to inflict damage on Cell, decides that after everyone else sacrificed all their energy, and perhaps risked their lives to help Gohan, he would too. He floats over, and fires an epic blast at his enemy, not managing to hurt him, but temporarily distracting him. From up in heaven, Goku shouts to Gohan to use full power, via the use of telepathy. Hearing his fathers call, Gohan puts everything he has into the blast, managing to take full advantage of Vegeta's assistance, and blasting Cell, finishing him off once and for all.
VOLCANO SCENE
I doubt many people will remember this fantastic scene without me jogging their memory. It is Frieza, at his maximum, fighting incredibly well, against the mighty, kind-hearted Super Saiyan - Goku. Namek is falling to pieces, slowly disintegrating, and falling into desolation. Volcano's erupt, signaling that the planets end is nigh. Goku and Frieza are fighting, both in horrible fits of rage. Goku is putting all of his power into an awesome KameHameHa, slowly pushing Frieza backwards. The mighty evil one fights back with all of his power, eventually managing to force a stalemate with Goku's beam. The Super Saiyan maintains the power of his blast, increasing its power as much as he could possibly manage. Slowly Frieza struggles to gain control of the battle, until he decides that honor has no real meaning to him, and dives out of the beam, confusing Goku. Before the Super Saiyan can do anything, Frieza soars in towards him, capitalizing on Goku's loss of guard, and drives him down towards Earth with incredible power and force. Slowly Goku is pushed through the ground, breaking up layers upon layers of rocks and dirt in the process, with his body slowly being destroyed. All of a sudden, Frieza weaves out of it, and dives to the side of the small hole he formed with Goku's body. The Super Saiyan is unable to recover fast enough though, and is immersed by a huge blast of volcanic lava. Thinking it's over, Frieza turns to leave, but Gohan arrives. After roughing up Goku's son a little, Frieza prepares to kill him, when there is a huge upthrust of water, and out floats Goku! He somehow managed to survive! With a look of rage on his face, he shouts at Gohan to leave, then faces Frieza triumphantly, showing that he can survive almost anything.
GOKU'S SACRIFICE
Goku, the strongest man on Earth, faced a fearsome, threat in the form of his far superior brother, a far more powerful fighter. The two fight, with Goku allying with his former enemy Piccolo, and battling heroically, but with Raditz becoming the overall victor, just too strong for Earths most powerful duo. The outcome is looking bleak for the Earth, until Goku's son, who previously had been assumed to be weak, burst out of the place where he was stowed away by Raditz - the Saiyans pod. He then attacks Raditz in a frenzy of rage, doing major damage to him, but the attack is short lived. He is immediately knocked out as his power shoots right back down to normal. The fight goes on for a short while, with Piccolo charging up a Special Beam Cannon, after Raditz avoided the first one. Goku gets pummeled, and eventually can't get up, making Raditz turn to Piccolo, ready to kill him. The Namek is powerless to do anything other than continue to charge up his attack. Suddenly, Goku springs up, and puts his brother in a full nelson, telling Piccolo that he will nobly sacrifice himself for the well-being of the Earth. Piccolo finally finished powering up his attack, and lets loose, with Goku clutching his brother tightly, as to hold him still. The beam rips right through both Raditz and Goku, as they crash to the ground in separate locations. Goku slowly fades away to a new dimension, a hero in giving his life, so that the Earth may go on, without having to be under the evil rule of Raditz.
